WITH OVER 25 YEARS IN THE CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS OUR ROOTS ARE SIMPLE . LIKE MANY CONSTRUCTION WAS A WAY TO MAKE AN HONEST LIVING. JOHN STARTED OUT MOWING LAWNS AT THE AGE OF 11 AND AS HE GOT OLDER HE EVENTUALLY LEARNED THE CONCRETE, ELECTRICAL,PIPELINE AND PLUMBING TRADES. GETTING HIS GENERAL ENGINEERING LICENCE WAS THE NEXT STEP THEN THE REAL WORK STARTED. WITH A TOUGH ROAD AHEAD AND MANY CHALLENGES ALONG THE WAY JOHN AND HIS WIFE NEVER GAVE UP. SO 17 YEARS LATER AND STILL MOVING AHEAD SOUTHLAND TRACTOR IS STILL GOING STRONG THANKS TO THE GOOD LORD, AND SOME GOOD FRIENDS ALONG THE WAY.
